What I learned in game 6:
Game 6 was a beat down reminiscent of Rodney King.

This was a beat down. No batons or racist cops involved, but it was pretty decisive none the less. Not much to analyze in this game. The Celtics didn’t show up and the Lakers did.

What I learned in game 5:
Cult leader or porn star?

This was the most physical game of the series. And I loved it. Until the last couple minutes the refs let the teams play for the most part.

What I learned in game 4:
Big Baby and the energetic Celtics bench were the difference in game 4.

Big Baby had an inspired game. He was all over the place and made great decisions with the ball. He has been the Celtics most consistent big man. And it is simply due to how hard he plays.

What I learned in game 3:
Derek Fisher

D fish is the best thing out of Arkansas since that HBO documentary Banging in Little Rock. Speaking of Arkansas whatever happened to Todd Day? If JJ Redick can hang around in the league Todd Day should have been able too.

What I learned in game 2:
Sugar Ray with the sweetest stroke in the game.

I learned that the Celtics can win a NBA finals game with KG and Paul Pierce combining to 4-16 from the field. And that doesn’t include Boston getting four up and down minutes from Candace Parker’s husband, Sheldon Williams.

What I learned from Game 1:
phil-jackson-beach

I knew Phil Jackson reminded me of someone all these years but I couldn’t think of who. I thought to myself what other coach (trainer) says the most obvious shit, yet it seems to always work. And it hit me. It’s got to be Roger Mayweather.
