It was all down hill for Ronnie Turiaf when he insisted on starting his 7th season in the NBA with those straight to the back 1987 prison braids.  Nothing and I mean nothing good can come of this played out hairstyle.  Look no further than professional boxer David Haye who sports skinny jeans and also the same dreadful straight back braids.

As if looking like Eric B wasn’t bad enough Turiaf has a sun dial release on his jump shot and Utah Jazz back up power forward, and former slam dunk champion, Jeremy Evans blocked it with seemingly with his arm pit.  To add proverbial insult to injury, Turiaf did the one thing he does well, hustle, to get back on defense only to find himself on the customer end of some chin nuts.

Look how few strides it takes Evans to cover all that space.  I realize it is only preseason but that won’t make Turiaf avoid eye contact with Evans in the future.
