You don’t have to know much about the sweet science to know that the guy with the concave chest never wins. Well unless his name is Kelly Pavlick. In this case the guy with the concave chest is Alvaro Gaona. Don’t worry about remembering his name because after you see this knockout I’m not sure Alvaro will even remember it.
Canadian native David Lemieux was a rising prospect who many felt was part of young stable of Canadian fighters (Lucian Bute, Jean Pascal amongst others) who had a shot at being a legitimate world champion fighter. After winning his first 25 fights, he was upset by journeyman, but crafty veteran Marco Antonio Rubio. He lost his next fight as well and many thought his career was derailed. His last two opponents including Gaona were pretty soft competition. But scoring vicious knockouts like this will definitely have fans wanting to see more of him.
Gaona never fully recovered from the straight right that knocked him down the first time, but look as Lemieux sits all the way down on the perfectly balanced left hook that ultimately ends the fight and ends Gaona ability to listen to loud music ever again.
