Manny Pacquiao’s proposed fight date of November 10, has been pushed back to December 1, according to his adviser Michael Koncz. Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum was informed of this decision to push back the date in a Sunday meeting with Koncz.
Another fighter who has been rumored to have a December 1 fight date is Miguel Cotto. The Puerto Rican legend is coming off of an impressive loss to Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao vs Cotto I was impressive at the box office and many in the boxing public feel that Cotto would fair better in the rematch, at a higher weight and with a new trainer.
With both fighters sitting on the same date, rumors are starting to swirl that Cotto is now the front-runner for the next Pacquiao pay day. The other two fighters still in the Pacquiao conversation are Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez.
