The holiday doesn’t mean you can’t make some money while you celebrate.
You can get down on all of the Thanksgiving Day games through this link:
Okay, here goes!
New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions:
Megatron is “Da Man” in Detroit and the rumor is that model Tom Brady might be suffering from an injury or two. So, we’re all over Detroit at +6 _ to +7 in this one. The Lions should be able to score with abandon against a New England team that sports a weak secondary and I still believe that Detroit tries harder on Thanksgiving. Lions to cover, kids.
New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys:
Oh, wow. The Cowboys have won two games in a row! Big whoop. QB J. Kitna hasn’t seen the type of pressure that he’s likely the face from New Orleans’ Top 5 ranked defense. Yeah, you read that right! The defending champs have one of the best D’s in the league to go along with that incredible offense. They’re also surging having won their last 3 games and Big D is still Little D in 2010 no matter what they’ve done in the past 2 weeks. NFL.com’s Pat Kirwan wrote an awesome article on how the presence of Saints’ RB Reggie Bush changes things. Read Pat’s article below and then bet on the Saints to cover!
Cincinnati Bengals vs. New York Jets:
Yes, the Jets haven’t covered the spread in something like 4 games, but who cares? They’re playing the AFC version of the Minnesota Vikings with the “new guy”, and oldest player on the team (I think!), Train Wreck T.O. claiming that he’s “embarrassed”. Whatever, dude. You don’t play defense and since you don’t play defense, and Revis Island is going to keep you on it for about 4 quarters, the Jets are going to spank the Bungles nasty-like. Just to remind everybody of how awesome T.O. is, here’s the “Great One” crying for his beloved Tony Romo again.
